Week 4 summary - Goth, emo, punk

It's the last week, people. recap the last week - goth, emo, punk - with me now.
Monday: corporate emo

Tuesday: fishnet goth
Wednesday: slashy emo
Thursday: goth punk
Friday: emo chic
Saturday: leather punk
Sunday: chillaxin' emo

What a week. It was actually a fair bit of fun. Given the stuff is from my wardrobe, I do wear it, just generally not in such an overt way, nor do I wear red eyeshadow!

Week 4 Day 7: Sunday - Goth, emo, punk

Well, today's the last day of the challenge and I didn't pull out all stops. I'm hiding away in a Witchery grey marle cotton hoodie.
I wore my usual Sunday slob clothes and went with the dark and brooding blacks and greys.
Under the hoodie, I have a Cotton On singlet dress and tights from Woolford. Woolford make fabulous hosiery.

I like the ruching detail on this hoodie
I'm wearing with a pair of Nine West leather over-the-knee flat boots I bought shopping in NY. Wow that city is spectacular. I think I will be there to live at the end of the year.
So this outfit signals the end to Fashion-Me Challenge outfits! I think it's appropriate that I just slink back into my hoodie and stay here!

Thanks for following me through the challenge, and don't forget to vote for your favourite outfits while you can.

Week 4 Day 6: Saturday - Goth, emo, punk

Second last day of goth, emo, punk... I'm not quite sure what I am today, but leather is generally pretty punk.
I had a nice sleep-in and dagged around watching a movie. I then donned my gear and headed for a haircut.
I'm wearing a leather tunic-style dress by Morrissey. I love this dress!!!
The dress has a really high waist and it makes my legs look long, especially when I wear with high heels, which I'm not here.
I'm wearing with these cute stirrup and cross-over leggings from Cue and some basic leather ballet flats from Country Road.
And, of course, there are these gloves. They're also from Country Road and I got them a couple of seasons ago. They're the softest lamb leather on one side, and crushed patent leather on the reverse.
OMG! These gloves are SOOO hot!
I really like my haircut. I get it done at a salon called Mest. Usually Pat cuts my hair, but as Pat doesn't work Saturdays, this time it was cut by a new guy from Adelaide called Rob, also affectionately known as Robo. I think I'll be playing Robo and Pat off against each other. I love the cuts both these guys give.

I really like how the cut is asymetrical. It's great having short hair.

Week 4 Day 5: Friday - Goth, emo, punk

I toned down a bit today. I had drinks after work, and quite frankly, heaps of compliments on my outfit tonight.
I'm wearing the softest lamb-leather (baa murrrrdererrrr) skirt I bought in Florence (which is amazing place to shop for both leather and gold items). I'm wearing a Cue top with great padded shoulders.
I love the cut and draping of this top.
Over the top I'm wearing a gorgeous chest-piece I bought when I went shopping in Adelaide with my girlfriend Keryn. I can't remember the name of the boutique, but they sold artworks and amazing body wear.
This chest-piece is amazing!
OK shoe fiends, these are hot, yes? They're from Country Road. The pics don't do them justice. The over-the-knee ribbed stirrup socks are great fun to wear too.
Makeup was pretty sedate today. A smoky eye and bright lip. That actually is my normal coloured makeup. The photos are lightened a bit, but as the summer draws to a close, yes, I really am that pale!
As it's getting cool now, I'm wearing with this awesome wool military-inspired trench I picked up from an op shop. I added a few badges I found at Sportgirl.

Week 4 Day 4: Thursday - Goth, emo, punk

Well kinda goth punk today. I'd wear any of these individual items from my wardrobe, but together, it's all a bit scary.
And yes, I went to work like this!
I'm wearing a Cooper Street long black cotton-elastane tank dress. Over the top, is a Cotton On buttonless asymetrical cardi.
I've had this embroidered obi for a long time. It looks great with a white shirt too. I bought it from a store in Mittagong called Japanache. They stock all sorts of Japanese antiquities and materials.

Feeling very goth-like with the mohawk, long chain jewellery and jet earrings.
Chains are from Sussan. the choker chain is from Diva. The black stone ring is a christmas gift from my sister and the chain rings are from Sportsgirl. I'll spend up on quality items, but only buy cheap costume jewellery.
My little friend decided to pose with us. For real, he was alive and crawling on the cow-hide rug. These are fabulous leather platform booties I picked up from Morrissey.
I have on a pair of socks that I got, from, um, a sex shop in Fyshwick.
OMG these shoes are hot. So very high too. I'm so tall in them!
Part of the goth look is about the makeup. I lightened on the eyeliner, but went with a really crimson eye and black-red lip. The mohawk was done with Fudge hair shaper. It's not a firm hold, so I used hairspray to set.

Week 4 Day 3: Wednesday- Goth, emo, punk

Emo Wednesday, howling at the moon.
It's a bit easier to do Emo than it is to do Goth. I think I've got enough in my wardrobe to make the choices. I'm wearing my True Religion black skinny-leg jeans again.
This tee rocks. I've had it for years. It's a Fresh Jive black cotton tee with black metallic screen-print. I'm wearing with striped Sportsgirl armbands (so you can't see where I cut myself when I got Emo-depressed).
the headscarf is black skull-print I also picked up from Sportsgirl and I'm wearing some cheap bracelets and rings from Diva.
These scissor earrings are too cute. I got them from a boutique in Melbourne.
Shoes are cheap n nasties from Target, worn with grey wool and lurex socks from Country Road.
All in all, I'd probably wear this outfit again, but maybe not so over-the-top with the accessories.
