Following are links and details of where you can find my favourite items.
  • Agent Provocateur. While you wont see my knickers on the site, I had to include a link to this retailer. Agent Provocateur stocks the sexiest lingerie in the world. Just the website itself is worth checking out. http://www.agentprovocateur.com/
  • Bimbo. An Adelaide store stocking a range of covetable goodies. Jewellery, handbags, stationery and even gimp masks. This is a great store to browse. I picked up a bottle opener shaped like a giant razor blade, and my hand-made 'Dang' necklace. Not much of an online presence though. You'll just have to visit. http://www.bimbonline.com.au/
  • Country Road. This is a great clothing and house-wares outlet. In terms of their clothing, it's simplicity, fabulous materials and great cuts. Country Road struggled for the last couple of decades, but in 2004 was relaunched and has some great gear. http://www.countryroad.com.au/
  • Cue. An Australian high-street fasion chain, Cue has some top items; quality cuts and lovely materials. In March 2011 Cue released a collaboration with Australian designer Dion Lee. Check out the collaboration: http://www.dionlee.cue.cc/#/ or visit the Cue website at http://www.cue.cc/
  • Da Klinic. This is an awesome skate and hip hop shop in Adelaide. Ecclectic mix of goodies, from wheels and bearings to CDs of some great Aussie and international hip hop. They also provide skating, street-art and turntablism workshops. The online shop is great. http://www.daklinic.com/
  • Henri Bendel. This high-end 4-story department store is on Fifth Ave. Established in 1895, the store apparently staged New York's first ever fashion show. The elaborate store itself, with massive gold doors and Lalique windows stretching from floors 2 to 4, appropriately houses the amazing goodies you'll find inside. http://www.henribendel.com/
  • Japanache. This family owned store in Mittagong imports Japanese antiques: furniture, art decor, garden ornaments, textiles and interior design items. They stock fabulous items from all eras. From big wooden temple doors and statues to kimono and silk wall hangings. http://www.japanache.com.au/
  • Jigsaw. Jigsaw is a British brand that has been established in the design, manufacture and retailing of clothes for nearly 40 years. They create pieces that fit perfectly, are constructed in beautiful fabrics and are timeless in their design appeal. http://www.jigsawclothing.com.au/
  • Mest hair. This Canberra salon is located in an alley at the Manuka shops. They do fabulous colouring and progressive cuts. http://www.mest.com.au/
  • Mogil accessories. There are a few posts on forums such as vogue.com from people searching to purchase Mogil shoes and bags online. They don't seem to have a website, but there are a few stockists. The luxury leather-goods brand is available in quality boutiques.
  • Morrissey. Morrissey used to do fab clothing, but now Peter Morrissey is designing for Big W(?) and specialising in eyewear, leather goods and luggage. It's not what it used to be: gorgeous silk and leather womenswear. http://www.morrissey-aust.com.au/
  • OPI Nail Colours. OPI polishes are simply fabulous. This site is also a bit of fun. Try on the colours on a virtual hand, order a Dell laptop in a matching colour, or simply find where you can purchase these fab nail colours: http://www.opi.com/
  • Oroton. This is one of my fave Aussie brands. A fabulously made product, Oroton has stood the test of time. I coveted my mum's purses and handbags when I was a kid. I could spend hours on this site. Not to mention dollars: http://www.oroton.com/
  • True Religion. What can I say? These jeans are cut to fit and flatter. They're amazing. I have five pairs. Established in 2002, founder Jeffrey Lubell states the brand personality as 'Timeless, Hippie, Bohemian, Chic'. http://www.truereligionbrandjeans.com/
  • Witchery.  Gorgeous Aussie clothing brand. Very much about simple and sophisticated items. Reasonably priced and lovely to wear. Check out: http://www.witchery.com.au/
  • Zara. Founded in 1975, Zara is a spanish clothing and accessories retailer. They are supposedly opening a store in Australia later this year. High fashion clothing at high-street pricing. http://www.zara.com/
